DESCRIPTION:

An excellent dual location role for an earthy, child-led, child-focused nanny looking for an adventure with a dynamic family who have three wonderful children ages 6, 3 and 15 months.

The family is very holistic and needs an intuitive child carer with high emotional intelligence. Familiarity with Steiner/Montessori/Waldorf is highly valued. They are creative and high-profile but caring, living in Los Angeles and spending summers in London.

The role will involve working in a team with a very hands-on supportive mum and another nanny. You will each focus on one/two child/children at a time, the older two or the baby, but you may occasionally be responsible for two or three children.

This amazing role will suit a nanny with a holistic approach who loves working positively with children, providing them with opportunities to learn and grow through learning experiences. As a nanny you also want to learn, grow and adapt, you are open-minded and willing.

The ideal candidate will be positive, proactive, gentle, engaging, and imaginative. A nanny who’s confident in taking complete sole charge, taking the initiative, and having excellent communication skills to work with the household members.
 

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, up to 45 hours per week, between 7:30am to 7pm depending on the schedule you are on.
   

• Successful applicants must be happy to live in LA and spend2-3 months every summer in London.
   

• Separate Accommodation and a nanny car will be provided.
   

• Start date is as soon as possible but the family can consider waiting until January 2025 for the right person.
   

• UK Contract and paid in £. The family will manage the visa.
   

ROLE SPECIFICS:

• Caring for C7, C3 & C15m (Partnering with another nanny)-

• In-role experience required and strong references

• Childcare qualifications are a bonus and an interest in professional development

• DBS and paediatric first-aid training in place

• A driving licence is required (car provided) and you need to be comfortable to drive in the US.

• Strong organisational skills

TYPICAL CHILD-FOCUSED NURSERY DUTIES IS REQUIRED INCLUDING:

• Planning and arranging age-appropriate child led activities

• Preparing healthy meals for the children and cleaning up after

• Keeping all children’s areas tidy and organised

• Taking the children to and from activities/days out by driving (a car will be provided)

• Travel approximately 2-4 times per year

• Liaising with other members of the household and working in a team

• Flexibility to stay overnight if ever needed
