SALARY: Excellent market rate depending on your experience up to £35 gross per hour

 

DAYS: Saturdays and Sundays

 

HOURS: 8am – 6pm but this is also flexible to suit the nanny and can offer more/less hours.
Bonus would be additional hours between Monday to Friday between 4-6/7pm

if the nanny wants to work more hours.

DESCRIPTION:

This wonderful family is looking for a professional, nurturing, and energetic WEEKEND live out nanny to help busy hands-on parents care for their growing family. They have two little boys ages 3 and 15 months and are expecting a baby girl in March. The family have re-located from the US and are settled in the Kensington area. They have a full-time nanny during the week and have a maternity nurse for the first three months when the baby is born, so they would like to find a caring and warm nanny who can support them also on the weekends on a permanent long-term basis. They are also able to offer extra hours if the weekend nanny wants to work during the week between 4-7pm but this is flexible and not a requirement.

This is a busy and lively informal household, so the nanny needs to be comfortable to have parents being around and to work in a team with them. At times they want the nanny to join them, and they can all enjoy going somewhere together. They want a nanny who will also take sole charge and keep the boys engaged and stimulated, take them to Purple Dragon, where they are members, and spend lots of time outdoors in the park or playground.

They are looking for a creative, thoughtful, fun, and kind nanny who enjoys being active and who genuinely loves their job and spending time with babies and toddlers. It is important you are easy going, a team player and a good communicator. They like someone who can get down to the children’s level, be very patient, calm and supportive.

The parents would like to find a fluent English-speaking nanny who is committed to working every weekend and who can offer some flexibly if they need extra support during the week. Ideally you live locally to them or can get to their home easily. They value someone who enjoys cooking for children, who is tidy and organised and can create a healthy environment for the children to thrive.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 6 years nannying experience with babies from new-born and toddlers as well as being able to support with weaning, following routines and toilet training. Someone who has a good understanding and passion for working with and developing babies and toddlers. An interest in cooking fresh healthy meals for the children is also important as well as being extremely organised around the children’s needs. Ideally you have worked with two young children at the same time and can support this wonderful family in their exciting parenting journey.

DUTIES:

Usual nanny duties and responsibilities to care for the children to include:

• Planning and delivering appropriate activities for fun, learning and development, both in and out of the home, stimulating the children educationally, emotionally, and socially.

• Taking the children to local activities appropriate for their age group, going for walks in the park and playground, attending playgroups and arranging play dates.

• Support with cooking for the children and preparing fresh healthy meals.

• Tidying up after the children when in your care and all nursery duties.

• Looking after their health and safety.

• Following routines and other developmental milestones.

• Evening babysitting if required on occasion.

• Support parents and work in partnership together.

• No general housework required as they have a cleaner each week.
