DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly experienced, loving, proactive and enriching nanny who is happy with a sole charge full time position starting later this year ideally on the 9th December 2024. Our wonderful clients are relocating from the USA and will be moving to live in London during the first week of December. They have two switched on, curious and bright little girls who will be aged 14 months and 3 years old when the position starts.

They would love to find a long-term nanny to become part of their family and who is flexible, proactive and can support them with settling into their new life and home here. They also have two very cute mini golden doodles who will be coming a few months later and both dogs are very gentle, playful and hypoallergenic.

The eldest child loves learning new things, is very intellectually curious and highly intelligent for her age. She has a love of books, mechanical toys, animals and playing outdoors. The baby is very happy, easy-going, observant and adores her big sister. She enjoys tummy time, watching what is going on and lots of cuddles. They want their nanny to focus on both the girls interests and stimulate them through play, encouraging them to meet their milestones, using creativity to empower and feed the children’s curiosity. They would love a sociable nanny to nurture and drive their development forward.

The family are looking for a kind, positive and calm nanny who loves being active and who genuinely loves their job, is knowledgeable and educationally focussed. They are looking for someone who is emotionally intelligent, reliable, and a team player. You will be treated as an extension of their family, and they always go above and beyond for their nanny to make them feel valued and cared for.

They will have a cleaner a few times each week, so your role is focussing on the children and all nursery duties related to them. This will include cooking very healthy balanced organic meals and encouraging the children to try new foods. They would love their nanny to be able to take initiative, plan ahead, be happy to muck in and be highly organised to make life easier for the parents who both work full time.

They will move to the NW3 area, so it would be ideal if you know this location well and all the local parks and activities. The eldest will be in nursery every day and you will need to pick her up each afternoon with the baby. You also need to have a fluent level of English.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:​

• Minimum of 8 years nannying experience with babies, toddlers and school ages as well as being able to support with managing the routines for two children. Experience working with and developing young children, supporting with planning stimulating, educational and enriching fun activities for both children, work in partnership with parents. An interest in cooking fresh healthy meals and being proactive with organisation, planning activities and all nursery duties when there is time.

• Preparing and cooking meals following a healthy, balanced nutritional diet.

• Picking up the eldest from nursery each afternoon.

• Finding enriching educational activities, taking to classes or arranging playdates.

• Stimulate the children’s social development through conversation and play.

• Keeping the children’s bedroom and toys organised and tidy.

• Children’s laundry and clothes management.

• Shopping for the children’s needs or running occasional errands.

• Follow daily routines and structures.

• Looking after their health and safety.

• Letting the dogs in and out or handing them over to doggy care.

• Being open to travelling with the family once or twice per year.

• Proxy parenting (occasionally) or babysitting if required and available.
