LOCATION: Battersea Park, SW11

SALARY: £55,000-£60,000 gross per year (experience dependent)

 

 DAYS: Monday to Friday

 

HOURS: TOTAL = 52.25 PER WEEK
7.45am – 6.15pm (6pm on Fridays)

 

CHILDREN: 19 months and 5 year-old boys

                      

DESCRIPTION: 

This wonderful family is looking for a professional, energetic and passionate full-time nanny with around 5-12 years’ experience working with two children from toddlers up to school age children. Our returning clients have two gorgeous boys ages 19 months and 5 years old who are in a lovely routine. They would love to find a long term committed nanny who does not live too far from them in Battersea Park, so the commute is not too long as they need 52.25 hours per week.

The parents would love to find a nanny who genuinely loves her job, is interested in child development and is passionate about working with young children. They would also like the nanny to be developmentally focussed and support the children to meet all their milestones as they get older, plan age-appropriate activities, introduce them to new experiences and be proactive in finding stimulating activities during school holidays.

The family are looking for someone who is confident to care for two children of different ages and manage the school drop off and pick up (walking distance). The youngest will start morning nursery in September 2025 for a year, but they want a nanny who can commit to at least 3-5 years as they will still need full time support when he is in nursery. They need a nanny who will grow with them and enjoy the changes this brings. You should be a loyal, affectionate, active and outdoorsy nanny who takes pride in teaching and engaging with children.

Both parents work full time and in demanding jobs so they need a very good communicator who will work in partnership with them and be part of the family. They would love you to share photos of the children and get updates while they are at work.

It is essential you are a native English speaker or have a fluent level of English for language development and to support with homework as they get older. You must be settled living in London and ideally know the area.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally 5-12 years’ experience working with two children from toddlers up to school age children

• All nursery duties
• Cook fresh healthy varied meals for the children
• Take children to parks and local activities
• Stimulate their social development through conversation and play
• Focus on teaching the children (phonics, numbers etc) and supporting their development
• All nursery duties and keep all children’s areas tidy and organised (they have a cleaner that comes to do deep cleaning a few times per week).
• Stimulate through play, music, books, art
• Suggest and take the toddler to local activities and playgroups
• Babysitting very occasionally if parents need to go out for a few hours in the evening (parents evening etc)
